Morgan E. Porter

Morgan Porter is a University of New Mexico School of Law graduate and has been licensed since 2021. During law school, she balanced coursework with meaningful legal experience, working as a law clerk and supporting her peers and faculty as a civil procedure tutor and research assistant. Today, her practice includes general tort litigation and medical malpractice defense, where she is known for thorough preparation and strong written advocacy. Ms. Porter has also contributed to the profession through publication in the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association Journal. Prior to joining the Conklin firm, she practiced as an associate at a private firm focused on medical malpractice defense, handling cases with significant litigation demands and tight deadlines. Her experience includes managing large-scale discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and participating in key case events such as depositions, hearings, and mediations. Ms. Porter’s background in high-intensity defense work helps her approach each matter with efficiency, organization, and a steady focus on achieving the best possible outcome for the client.
