Morgan Sterns: Attorney with Whitelaw-Twining

Biography

Morgan joined the firm as a summer student in 2017, and returned for her articles in 2018. She practices in the area of commercial and general insurance litigation, with a developing focus in construction, and professional liability. She enjoys the problem solving aspect of her practice and has a keen interest in finding creative solutions. Her approach is marked with optimism and vigour, and she appreciates the fact that she learns something new daily and is constantly challenged. She has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

Prior to embarking on her legal career, Morgan travelled extensively and was a freelance food and culture writer. During law school, she was heavily involved with mooting and competed in the Jessup International Law Moot, and Gale Cup Moot. From these experiences, she honed her advocacy skills and developed an enthusiasm in working with, and on behalf of, clients.

In her free time, Morgan loves spending time exploring the west coast with her dog Franklin and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
