Biography

The law office of Alexander Patrick Johnson PLLC is dedicated to serving South Florida by providing legal expertise to real estate investors, landlords, and tenants. With a practice limited to Florida real property and landlord-tenant Law, the firm of Alexander Patrick Johnson PLLC is able to see clients safely through landlord-tenant disputes, real estate and mortgage closings, title insurance, real property litigation and deposit disputes, trust formation, and mortgage foreclosures.

Attorney Johnson earned earned his Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois in 1989. He went on to serve as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the City of Chicago’s Department of Law where he worked in Special Prosecutions, Zoning, Building and Housing, and Municipal Prosecutions. He gained extensive experience in real estate law by litigating a wide range of real property cases. In 1995 he received the Special Services Award from the South East Chicago Commission.

He moved to the private sector 1996 and established his present practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Attorney Johnson is the moderator of the Florida Landlord Tenant Blog and has personally authored 250 articles on Landlord Tenant Law.
