Biography

A registered patent attorney, I followed my decade of engineering experience at a Fortune 100 company with more than 25 years of legal practice in law firms, at a major scientific research institution and in public corporations, most recently as worldwide director of intellectual property for Microsoft Services.

I am a technologist at heart. For hobbies, I write code (mostly C++ and Python) and build computers and sounding rockets. Being a patent lawyer is very fulfilling for me because I get to work with my clients, who are creative, fellow technologists. The focus of my practice is on individual inventors and startups. My goal is to help my clients protect their intellectual property, so they can attract investment and enhance the value of their greatest asset.
