Austin’s practice focuses on defending individual and mass-tort cases at both state and federal levels, including multidistrict litigations (MDLs), involving diverse claims against international corporations.
Austin has robust trial and litigation management experience, defending clients in the retail, consumer products, food & beverage, airline, automotive, life sciences, and pharmaceutical/medical device industries. He handles all aspects of complex mass tort and product liability cases from early case assessment through trial, frequently in the toughest jurisdictions in the country. Having participated in more than 15 trials, Austin works up and evaluates each matter with a view towards trial.

He takes a strategic, practical and results-driven approach to litigation, and counsels clients with a 360 degree mindset.
