Bart H. Chepenik, one of the firm's founders, began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP where he spent seven (7) years focused in that company's state and local tax practice concentrating on representation of and consultation to mid-size and large private and public companies in all facets of state and local taxation, including income/franchise tax planning, sales and use tax planning, state transfer tax planning, corporate restructuring planning and implementation, state tax audit representation, state tax process automation, and voluntary disclosures. Now, Mr. Chepenik is managing partner of Chepenik Trushin LLP and represents individuals, families and businesses in a general transactional law practice, with concentration in estate planning, business succession planning, wealth preservation, asset protection planning, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship administration, corporate law and real estate
