Biography

Bennett started practicing law in 1994. His law practice is focused exclusively in Estate Planning and Asset Protection Planning. Bennett became an attorney because of unique personal and professional life experiences. Upon graduating from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bennett spent the next ten years working at a privately owned food distribution company in various executive roles. Ultimately, he became the company's Director of Operations. When the company was acquired in 1985, Bennett was the principal executive responsible for working with the attorneys and financial planners involved with the sale. That was when he discovered that he had found his niche. Inspiring him to attend law school, and also to work for a financial planning company. Inspiring him to attend law school, and also to work for a financial planning company.Bennett is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Florida. He works in close collaboration with his clients, their families, and their other trusted advisors. As a result, his client's feel a peace of mind about their estate planning and financial future. Many clients come to think of Bennett as a close friend. Bennett is a member of Wealth Counsel; the Colorado Bar Association; the Florida Bar Association; the Boulder County Estate Planning Council; the Advisors Forum; the Legal Committee for the Boulder County Community Foundation; the Boulder County Bar; and the Laureate Wealth Strategies Program at the Southern California Institute.Bennett does an extraordinary amount of Continuing Legal Education, to provide his clients with excellent counseling using the most modern and relevant estate planning strategies available. Bennett is married to Diedre Wachbrit Braverman, who is also an Estate Planning Attorney, and he has two incredible stepchildren, sixteen-year-old twins, Gus and Lexi, and a Corgi puppy named Toby. Outside of work, Bennet enjoys running, hiking, and practicing Transcendental Meditation. Specialties Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Trust Administration, and Probate.
