Biography

Brian C. Tackenberg received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013, graduating magna cum laude and attaining membership in the Order of the Coif. During law school, Brian was a member of the Florida Law Review and earned Book Awards in Appellate Advocacy, Family Law, and Trial Practice. He was also a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy. Prior to law school, Brian attended the University of Florida, where he graduated summa cum laude, majoring in finance and anthropology. Brian began his legal career as a staff attorney for Justice Barbara J. Pariente at the Florida Supreme Court in Tallahassee, Florida. While at the Court, he performed legal analysis and provided recommendations to the Court in both civil and criminal cases. In 2012, the Florida Law Review published Brian’s article: "Instituting Non-Judicial Foreclosure in Florida: When It Comes to Foreclosure, Florida’s Judiciary Should Let Lenders Lead.".
