Biography

Brian was born in 1978 in Dallas, Texas and was raised in rural Williamson County through high school; graduating from Taylor High School in 1997. Brian attended the University of Texas at Austin and Texas State University (formerly known as Southwest Texas State University). He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from SWT in 2002. Brian then attended St. Mary's University School of Law on scholarship and graduated in 2006, near the top of his class. Brian was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006. He is licensed to practice law in the State Courts in Texas, as well as the United States District Courts in the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.

Brian's practice is entirely devoted to litigation and/trial work. Brian started his career defending doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice claims and lawsuits for one of the largest insurance defense firms in San Antonio at the time. He then shifted to defending drivers on behalf of their insurance companies. Brian now handles claims on behalf of injured Texans, as opposed to those who cause harm and their insurance carriers. Over the past fifteen years, Brian has handled over 1,000 personal injury cases; including claims involving catastrophic injuries and death in the medical malpractice, premises liability, and automobile accident arenas. While Brian has successful first chair trial experience, he also routinely resolves short of the trial through careful case analysis and strategic case development. Given his background, he is a seasoned litigator who fully understands how to navigate the insurance minefield.

Brian also has a significant amount of experience with residential and commercial construction disputes. Brian began working in his grandfather's interior finish-out business during junior high, and he has been involved in constructing his own homes and those of friends since 2005. With this background and his work experience, Brian brings to the table a unique understanding of modern residential construction issues and its many nuances. Today, Brian uses his extensive experience to protect and assert the rights of owners in claims against their contractors, design professionals, builders and component manufacturers related to construction defects, design defects, and manufacturing defects. Representation often begins at the earliest stages and includes advice and guidance during the contracting stage, RCLA process, and arbitration/litigation as necessary.

While construction and personal injury matters fill most of Brian's available time, he also advises clients in other areas of the law, including real estate, products liability, general negligence, nuisance, defamation, slander, libel, contract disputes, insurance disputes (including bad faith), and employment matters. Past clients range from individuals, families, and homeowners, to very large companies and corporations.

On a personal level, Brian is happily married to Lindsay Dennis (a San Antonio native, who brought him here as fast as she could). They have two wonderful children, Preston and Taylor. The Dennis family currently lives, worships, and plays in and around Boerne and Kendall County in their spare time.
