Born in Auburn, New York, raised in North Augusta, South Carolina, and having attended undergraduate school at the University of South Carolina in Aiken, Carl G. Schluter earned his Juris Doctorate from the Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia in 2001 as well as a certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Researching and Drafting.As a staff attorney for Georgia Legal Services, Carl represented the low income and elderly in a fourteen county area focusing on such issues as: divorce, child custody, child support and protective orders. As a former prosecutor, he is knowledgeable in the defenses of criminal law including DUI's, battery, traffic offenses and drug related cases. With an excellent reputation with the Augusta Bar Association and known as a very honest and hard working attorney by his peers, Carl G.
