Mr. Chad Eric Romey

Attorney Chad Romey is part of the Blackburn Romey team in Fort Wayne, where he represents clients with a blend of legal skill and a solid foundation in accounting and finance. Chad graduated cum laude from Manchester College with a B.S. in Accounting in 1998 and completed a Master of Accountancy in 1999. He later earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2002. Early in his career, he moved to Atlanta and worked at Greenberg Traurig LLP, gaining experience in a large, fast-paced firm environment before returning to serve clients closer to home. Chad remains active in the legal community through the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the Indiana State Bar Association. He holds licenses in Indiana and Georgia and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana and throughout Indiana’s state court system. Chad has received multiple professional honors, including recognition as one of Indiana’s Top 10 Under 40 personal injury attorneys and, in 2012, selection as a National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40,” an invitation-only distinction based on results, qualifications, and leadership.
