Biography

Chip Carson is an AV-rated trial lawyer with 31 years of experience in civil litigation and trial practice in Georgia state and federal courts. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1988 and worked in architecture before attending law school. Chip graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 1993 and practiced with an Atlanta law firm of Nall and Miller until founding Carson Law in 2009. He continues to represent many of his original defense clients. Chip has handled over 100 trials, litigating cases involving negligent construction, product liability, automotive personal injury, and medical malpractice. His background in architecture and construction gives him in-depth knowledge of building materials, methods, and contract interpretation. Additionally, his work on personal injury and medical malpractice cases has provided extensive experience in medical issues and mediation.

Carson Law is focused on client-centered, results-driven representation, emphasizing efficient resolution through trial or settlement. Chip is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar Association, The Atlanta Lawyers Club and the Construction Lawyers Society of America, among other organizations. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, tennis, and boating on Lake Lanier, and he is the proud father of two sons.
