Mr. Christopher Ryan Blackburn

Fort Wayne attorney Chris Blackburn is part of the Blackburn Romey team and is known for his focus on trial work and hands-on courtroom experience. Over the years, he has taken cases to trial in many counties, including Allen, Adams, Grant, Huntington, Kosciusko, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Vigo, giving him a strong understanding of how cases play out before judges and juries across Indiana. Chris graduated from Huntington University in 2005 with a degree in Economics and spent time as an investment advisor with PNC Bank before attending law school. He earned his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011, graduating with honors and finishing in the top 22% of his class. He passed the Indiana bar in early 2011 and has practiced since that time. Chris is licensed in Indiana, admitted in the U.S. Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana, and belongs to the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He was also recognized in 2012 as a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 honoree. Away from work, Chris supports the Whitley County 4-H program and spends a lot of family time at cattle shows as his children participate in the program.
