Attorney Christopher Adams opened The Law Firm of Christopher T. Adams, P.C. in 1992, returning to Lawrenceville to build a practice in the community that raised him. Since then, he has represented clients in a wide range of general civil and criminal matters across all courts. His work includes criminal, family, and juvenile cases, along with estate planning, personal injury, and wrongful death claims. Chris’s connection to Gwinnett County runs deep. He is the seventh generation of his family to live and work here, and he brings that local understanding to every case. He received a B.B.A. in Business from the University of Georgia in 1988, followed by a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1992. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia in 1992, and later to the U.S. Tax Court in 1993. Chris believes in staying sharp and giving back, participating in continuing legal education and community service organizations. He also maintains active membership in several professional groups, including the Gwinnett County Bar Association and Atlanta Bar Association.
