He has handled more than 150 criminal jury trials and has been Board Certified in Criminal Law since 2016, a credential that places him in the top 1% of lawyers in the state. Clayten’s perspective is shaped by his extensive background as a prosecutor in Lamar, Comal, and Galveston Counties. He has served as a Chief Prosecutor for vehicular crimes and major fraud, giving him an "insider's" view of how the prosecution thinks and operates.
