Cody specializes in environmental law, representing commercial property buyers, sellers, and lenders in transactions involving environmentally impacted property. If your business is involved in a property transaction where hazardous substances were used at that property or a Recognized Environmental Condition has been identified (i.e. you do not have a "clean" Phase I), Cody can advise you regarding the unique risks that creates and the legal mechanisms and strategies available to manage that risk.

Cody's construction practice focuses on representing owners, developers, and general contractors in litigation involving construction defect actions, payment disputes, and lien foreclosures. He is also experienced representing building owners in matters involving mold remediation, water intrusion, asbestos abatement, lead-based paint, vapor mitigation, and indoor air quaility.
