Biography

Daniel (Dan) Chronister is an attorney with over 10 years of experience helping clients and advocating for their rights in legal proceedings, negotiating agreements with creditors and opposing sides for the benefit of clients. He has primarily practiced bankruptcy law including filing both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases for clients with vast experience dealing with the bankruptcy judges and trustees on behalf of his clients. He is empathetic and caring about his clients and focuses on pre-bankruptcy planning to make sure that cases go as smoothly as possible to eliminate stress during the bankruptcy process. He is licensed in the State of Texas and in the Southern District of Texas federal courts.

Dan grew up in the Midwest before moving to Houston and graduating with a BA in political science from the University of Houston in 2003. He moved to San Antonio to attend the St. Mary’s University School of Law receiving his JD and being licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 2007.

Dan has been married to his amazing wife for 8 years and they called Houston home since 2011. He enjoys all sports, especially hockey which he played competitively through college.
