Biography

Danny is a native of Lakeland, Georgia. He was salutatorian of his high school class at Lanier County High School in 1971. He graduated with honors from Valdosta State College (now Valdosta State University) in Valdosta, Georgia. He went on to study law at the Woodrow Wilson College of Law in Atlanta, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1980. Danny received his law school diploma from F. Lee Bailey, who was the law school graduation speaker that year.

After graduating from law school, Danny and his wife, Janet, settled in Nashville. He has practiced law in Nashville ever since, which gives him the opportunity to be conveniently located to clients from Tifton, Homerville, Pearson, Lakeland, Alapaha, Fitzgerald, and the surrounding areas.

Danny and Janet have two sons, Chase Studstill and Justin Studstill, and five grandchildren. Justin is married to Haynes Maier Studstill. Danny enjoys hunting and fishing with his grandchildren in his free time and is actively involved with the Alapaha Judicial Circuit Bar Association and Flat Creek Baptist Church.
