Biography

Daniel Andrew Nicholas is a Partner in the firm's Tampa office and has 30 years of multi-disciplinary litigation experience in the areas of corporate, business, receivership, franchise, employment, contract, bankruptcy, securities, construction, and health care. He has obtained verdicts in excess of $100 million in state and federal trials for the nation’s largest banks, developers, and health care clients. His practice is highly concentrated in the health care industry. He has substantial regulatory experience that includes Federal Anti-Kickback, Stark, Medicare, Medicaid, Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Affordable Care Act (ACA), as well as the operational and compliance issues facing the ever changing health care industry. Mr. Nicholas speaks regularly throughout the United States in an array of litigation and healthcare issues, and appeared on numerous television and radio shows on matters of professional malpractice and consumer protection.
