Biography

David Haselden focuses on family law matters as well as personal injury litigation. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Williams, Resident Judge in the First Judicial Court after graduating from the Charleston School of Law in 2007.

Following his clerkship, David transitioned to the role of Assistant Public Defender in the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office. In this capacity, he represented numerous defendants in both the Court of General Sessions and the Family Court. He then worked at Rosen Law Firm in the areas of family law and personal injury litigation before joining Rosen Hagood in August 2024.

Born and raised in York County, South Carolina, he attended Clover High School before accepting a football scholarship to Clemson University, where he majored in Speech and Communications.

Licensed to practice law in South Carolina, David is an active member of both the South Carolina Bar and the Charleston County Bar Association. He is a member of the Charleston Lawyers Club and participates in various activities at First Scots Presbyterian Church.

• $1,200,000 settlement for a client injured in a premises liability case at an apartment complex.

• $925,000 settlement for a client who suffered catastrophic injuries in a trucking accident.

• $750,000 settlement for a client injured in a birth injury case due to medical malpractice.
