Biography

David Aden is an experienced personal injury and civil litigation attorney who draws on a unique health care background to give his clients the extra edge in pursuit of justice. His law practice, The Law Offices of David Aden, serves New Orleans and surrounding communities and parishes of southeast Louisiana.

David received his undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. While pursuing a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of St. Francis, he became interested in the legal aspects of hospital administration. After obtaining his law degree from Loyola Law School, he returned to finish up his administration degree.

David worked as a nurse and administrator for more than a decade in direct patient care, case management, utilization management, quality review and other capacities. He formerly worked for an HMO, so he knows how insurers analyze injury claims for medical necessity. At East Jefferson General Hospital, he worked on the other side, advocating for patients and their continued care against health plans. These insights provide a distinct advantage to accident victims and clients who have suffered harm because of medical negligence.

Mr. Aden’s primary areas of practice include personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, employment law, health care law and general civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. David is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Jefferson Parish Bar Association and the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, and he is a registered nurse (RN) through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
