Biography

Scott Snellings didn’t always plan on being a lawyer. Growing up in Plano and playing football for Plano East, he actually headed to Baylor with dreams of becoming a doctor. But a summer internship changed everything. He worked on a heartbreaking case involving a fatal 18-wheeler crash that left two young girls without parents, and that experience lit a fire in him to help injury victims. After excelling at Baylor Law, Scott started his career at a top-tier defense firm. This was a crucial chapter because it taught him exactly how insurance companies and big corporations fight these cases. In 2008, he took that "insider" knowledge and flipped the script, co-founding a firm in McKinney before eventually starting Snellings Law PLLC. Today, he uses those decades of experience to represent families dealing with everything from moderate injuries to catastrophic losses. Scott wants his clients to feel supported, get the medical care they need, and know they have a seasoned pro in their corner who isn’t afraid of a courtroom. He’s a Plano local through and through, dedicated to fighting for his neighbors when they need it most.
