Mr. Davis W. Puryear

Davis Puryear is an attorney with Hutchens Law Firm LLP practicing in the areas of Business Law, Estate Planning, Estate Probate, and Litigation. With experience in transactional and business litigation matters, he assists his clients through the entire business life-cycle from the formation of their business to succession planning or mergers and sales. His clients rely on him for assistance with contract drafting, litigation, mediation, member and shareholder agreements, business dissolutions, operating agreements, corporations, partnerships, and business litigation.

Davis also assists clients with Estate Planning including wills, powers of attorney, trusts, business succession plans, and related estate planning needs. Davis takes great pride in his ability to assist clients with Estate Planning because it allows a client to care and provide for themselves, their children, and other relatives when the clients no longer have the ability to do so themselves. Every business and estate planning client is unique, and Davis strives to provide a business or estate plan tailored to each client’s specific needs.

A merit scholar, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, graduating cum laude. He is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and returned to his hometown in 2015, and remains active in the community.
