Biography

Edward C. Hay, Jr. is a Board Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law, certified by both the North Carolina State Bar and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

He has served on the Bankruptcy Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association, and on the Selection Committee which examines candidates for Specialization. He is active in civic affairs, including service as Vice-Mayor of the City of Asheville.

Ed resides in Asheville with his wife Diana Soileau and has four children.
