Mr. Gregory A. Stewart

Mr. Gregory A. Stewart is a veteran trial attorney with 29-plus years of trial experience.

Mr. Stewart has tried approximately 100 civil cases, both bench, and jury trials, and he has prepared and argued essentially every type of motion imaginable. He has handled all of his own appeals, has three published opinions to his credit, and is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Stewart is a second-generation Houstonian, and while he grew up in the city, he also spent a considerable amount of time in the country at a family farm attending to cows, fish, bees, and other agricultural endeavors. This work not only taught Mr. Stewart about the benefits of maintaining a strong work ethic, it also allowed him to develop an appreciation for the outdoors and wildlife conservation – an appreciation which Mr. Stewart carries with him to this day.

Mr. Stewart left his hometown after high school to attend the University of Texas at Austin, but returned to Houston thereafter to enroll in the University of St. Thomas’ Masters of Finance program. He then went on to attend South Texas College of Law where he obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence. Mr. Stewart tried his first case after attaining 60 hours of law school credit and has been trying cases ever since. He has since been a partner at a 10 member law firm, operated a solo litigation practice, and served as outside counsel for a global marketing and hazardous control service provider.

Joining Thomas J. Henry in 2016, Mr. Stewart currently applies his vast legal knowledge to the representation of injured clients involved in complex personal injury litigation. He also manages the firm’s Commercial Case Development team, serving as a mentor to the firm’s rising attorneys. Outside of the office, Mr. Stewart is the proud father of three wonderful young adults and is a devoted son to aging parents.
