Biography

Greg practices in the area of tax incentives for alternative energy, including those for coal fuels, coke, biomass, methane from landfills and coal mines, ethanol, solar, wind, and biofuels. Working in this area since the late 1980s, Greg has structured well over 100 energy projects to qualify for tax incentives under IRC §29, §40, §45, §45K, §48, §6426, and ARRA §1603. Greg has published over 50 books and articles on incentives for alternative energy. He has also developed and managed alternative energy projects for institutional investors. His practice includes defending energy credits in tax audits and controversies.
