Biography

H. Ronald Stanley is a native of Conway, South Carolina and an accomplished graduate of Virginia State College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Stanley is licensed to practice in both State and Federal Courts of South Carolina and before the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

An accomplished Trial Lawyer, Mr. Stanley has been engaged in the practice of law in Columbia, South Carolina since 1977. He has handled numerous wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury cases resulting in significant jury verdicts and settlements for his clients. Mr. Stanley has served by special appointment as an Administrative Law Judge for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and for the South Carolina Alcohol and Beverage Control Commission. He is often retained to represent South Carolina State Agencies and Local Governmental entities in civil lawsuits.

Mr. Stanley is a certified mediator and is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the National Bar Association, and the Richland County Bar Association. He is also a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and is a member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference, The American Board of Trial Advocates, The John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, The National Association of Guardsmen, Inc., and Francis Burns United Methodist Church.

Mr. Stanley’s major areas of practice include the following: Personal Injury, Automobile Accidents, Truck and Tractor Trailer Accidents, Wrongful Death, Motorcycle Accidents, Medical Malpractice, Work-Related Injuries and Workers’ Compensation, Heirs Property, Probate, Estates and Wills, Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation and Life Insurance Disputes.
