Mr. Herbert L. Uzzi

Raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, Herb Uzzi left the sunny shores of Florida’s east coast to attend the University of South Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Following college, Herb returned to Palm Beach County, where he began his career as a sports journalist, working as a sports reporter for the Palm Beach Post; a producer, as a host, producer, writer and reporter for ESPN Radio West Palm; and as a producer, reporter, and sports news anchor for WPTV Newschannel 5.

Seeking to fulfil a life-long passion, Herb left the sports media industry and enrolled in law school at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated summa cum laude and third in his class.

Herb has been a valued partner at Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor for several years. Herb was named Top Lawyers by Palm Beach Illustrated for 2020-2023 and was recently named to the 2024 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Insurance Law and Personal Injury Litigation -Defendants.

His practice areas include defending nationwide corporations in automobile negligence, breach of contract, insurance coverage, negligent entrustment, negligent hiring, negligent security, negligent training, PIP defense, premises liability, subrogation, traffic defense, trucking and transportation industries. Herb’s litigation prowess and outstanding communication with clients earned him a promotion to a firm Partner in the West Palm Beach office, where he continues to produce exemplary results. In his spare time, Herb enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and his children, Lucy and Sam. He has never lost his love of sports, and continues to support his beloved New York Mets and South Carolina Gamecocks. His hobbies include playing basketball, reading, and enjoying the wonderful outdoors of his hometown Jupiter, FL.
