Mr. J. Haydon Ellis

J. Haydon Ellis joins Hutchens Law Firm as an associate attorney practicing in the areas of civil litigation and business law. A graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Haydon went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law as well as his Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School. While at Campbell, Haydon earned the Advanced Certificate of the Study of International Business Law, a widely-recognized international credential awarded by the University of Reading Centre for Commercial Law & Financial Regulations. As a law student, Haydon worked at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of N.C. as well as the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.

Before law school, Haydon worked as a financial advisor where he worked with clients by analyzing their priorities, resources, and goals and constructing and implementing a plan to meet those objectives. He carries this same attention to client relationships with him today, and helping clients obtain their goals is his driving force. Joining Hutchens Law Firm, Haydon’s business and finance background will enable him to assist individual and business clients in a wide variety of matters.
