Mr. Jacob Downing

Jacob Downing is a dedicated and experienced attorney at Morgan & Morgan, where he passionately advocates for justice on behalf of his clients. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence early in his career.

He pursued his legal education at Ave Maria School of Law, graduating cum laude, where he honed his skills and developed a strong foundation in the law. Following law school, Jacob served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 6th Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, where he gained invaluable courtroom experience prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases.

Building on his passion for justice and public service, Jacob joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent. In this role, he conducted high-stakes investigations into Crimes Against Children and Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. His exceptional performance and leadership skills led to his promotion as a leader of the Attorney General’s Protection Detail, where he ensured the safety and security of the United States Attorney General. Additionally, Jacob served as a Certified Legal Advisor for the FBI, providing critical legal guidance on complex investigations and operations, further solidifying his expertise.

Recognized for his legal acumen and professionalism, Jacob was selected to serve as a Florida Board of Bar Examiner’s grader, a prestigious role reserved for attorneys who demonstrate a deep understanding of the law and a commitment to upholding the high standards of the legal profession.
