Biography

Jan Greben is one of the nation's leading environmental litigators and a recognized expert in soil and groundwater contamination. His 30 years of experience includes Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Hazardous Substance Account Act (HSAA), cost recovery, toxic torts, inverse condemnation and public agency oversight disputes, spread among a wide variety of federal, state, regulatory and administrative proceedings. With his expansive knowledge regarding environmental and general civil laws, Mr. Greben practices extensively in the areas of environmental, business, real estate, complex and general civil litigation and many of his cases involve ground-breaking issues. He is an advocate for every client, whether representing a county or small business owner. His support also extends to assist clients obtain insurance coverage and handle coverage disputes relating to their specific cases.

Mr. Greben has first chaired many trials in state and federal courts, as well as facilitated numerous settlements by way of mediation.
