Biography

Michael is one of the managing partners in the firm. With over 25 years of practice, he has extensive experience across the legal spectrum, handing cases in employment law, including wage disputes and EEOC claims; workers’ compensation claims; medical malpractice, insurance coverage analysis and disputes; declaratory action experience, bad faith; and general tort, including passenger auto, commercial auto and premises liability and product liability.

Michael has built a solid foundation in motion and appeal practice from his prior clerkship at the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal. He has found success with dispositive motions, writ applications and appeals. He has taken several cases from start through trial, with more than 100 trials under his belt, including State and Federal juries and Declaratory Actions. He has successfully resolved countless cases through mediation, saving his clients significant exposure.
