Biography

Jeff’s practice is focused on business and corporate law, real estate and finance. Jeff has extensive experience in business and real estate transactions on both the buy-side and sell-side, real estate and corporate finance, contract negotiations and commercial leasing. Jeff assists clients in a broad range of matters arising in the corporate business life cycle, from entity formation, through growth periods, and in buying, selling, and borrowing. As a former co-owner of a start-up business, Jeff has first-hand experience with the issues and challenges facing small businesses, and he utilizes that practical experience in advising clients.Jeff began his legal career in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where his practice quickly evolved from business litigation to business and commercial transactions. Before joining Francis Hansen & Martin LLP, Jeff spent many years representing regional and national lending institutions in secured and unsecured commercial lending transactions. Jeff also served as in-house counsel to a real estate development company where he focused on project financings and real estate sales and acquisitions before returning to private practice.Jeff has co-authored several articles appearing in tax and business journals.
