Biography

Jeff brings more than 25 years of experience representing individuals and businesses in both litigation and transactional matters. He has significant industry knowledge in the areas of health care, technology, securities, antitrust, banking, real estate, manufacturing, and construction. He has represented clients in lawsuits before federal and state courts, administrative agencies and in mediations and arbitrations. Jeff’s corporate experience includes mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, joint ventures, and contracts for management, affiliation, licensing, and other commercial arrangements.

Jeff practiced in Los Angeles with one of the largest international law firms before joining the Salt Lake City law firm of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough. Barred in both California and Utah, Jeff has also served as general counsel for several clients, in the healthcare, technology, real estate development, construction, and manufacturing industries. He handles all aspects of corporate organization and operations, as well as management of litigation.

Jeff currently is an adjunct professor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School, at Brigham Young University.

Jeff is married to the former Elizabeth Hepburn and they have four children and nine grandchildren.
