Biography

Jeremiah Charles Monahan is an Associate in the firm's Pensacola office. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science with an emphasis in American Government and Law and minors in English and History from The State University of New York at Stony Brook where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Monahan then received his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law in 2009 where he competed nationally with the mock trial team and graduated with Pro Bono Honors.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Monahan moved to Pensacola, FL, and spent over 12 years as an Assistant State Attorney at the Office of the State Attorney of the 1st Judicial Circuit where he served as a special prosecutor in the Homicide and Major Crimes Division. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Monahan tried approximately one hundred jury trials to verdict, including multiple high-profile cases that received significant media attention.
