Biography

Mr. McKey is a board certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer and Managing Partner of the McKey Law Firm. He started his legal career by representing insurance companies in personal injury lawsuits and property damage claims. His current focus is on representing victims who have suffered damages or injuries asa result of the actions of someone else.   Mr. McKey's clients include individuals who have suffered severe or catastrophic injuries fromcar or truck wrecks, slip and falls or work related injuries. Many have had, or will require surgery as a result of an accident. Mr. McKey has also represented families who have lost loved ones in accidents.  He also represents employees who are not rightfully paid overtime and property owners whose insurance claims have been denied or undervalued.    Mr. McKey co-founded the boutique law firm McKey & Sanchez, P.C. in 2012 acting as Managing Partner and taking his knowledge and skills learned through representing insurance companies to help individuals fight and prosecute. Today he is founder and Managing Partner of the McKey Law Firm, representing clients throughout Texas, including Collin, Dallas and Denton counties.  These areas include the cities Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Murphy, Plano, Princeton, Wylie, Addison, Coppell, Dallas, Garland, Carrollton, Little Elm and The Colony.   Jeremy McKey graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Political Science. He played 4 years of college baseball in Dallas and Arkansas. Mr. McKey received his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary's University School of Law. He grew up in the Rio Grande Valley/South Texas and North Dallas/Carrollton. In 2013 he married, and together, he and his wife have 5 children. They currently reside in Frisco, Texas. In his free time, Mr. McKey enjoys managing 2 select baseball teams, spending time with his wife and children and rooting for local sports teams.
