Before embarking on a legal career, Joel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, obtaining a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He not only excelled academically but also developed decisive leadership skills as the President of the Men’s Rugby Team. Joel went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. A few of Joel’s notable awards and accolades during his time at ASU include a Certificate in Law, Science and Technology and a CALI Award for Academic Excellence.

Throughout his legal career, Joel has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in all stages of the legal process – from pre-litigation, to jury trials, to appeals, and more. He has worked with countless individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. Joel is well-versed in the art of understanding all aspects of a case and has mastered the ability to achieve results, regardless of the situation.
