Mr. John T. Dufour

John Dufour is a Carrollton native through and through, bringing an elite legal background back to his hometown. After graduating with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law, he cut his teeth at a prestigious firm in Savannah handling complex class action and ERISA litigation. Since returning to Carrollton in 1998, he has focused on helping his neighbors navigate personal injury, workers’ compensation, and bankruptcy. John’s track record is staggering; he has recovered tens of millions of dollars for injured clients and guided over 5,000 cases through the bankruptcy process. Whether a case is worth a few thousand dollars or three million, John treats it as a top priority because he knows that for the client, it is the most important thing in their life. Beyond the courtroom, John is deeply involved in the community, having served on the Temple City Council and as a guest lecturer at the University of West Georgia.
