Biography

John Hennick grew up in the Atlanta area. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, where he majored in both Economics and International Business, and he received his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2013.

Prior to joining Morgan and Morgan, John worked in the Atlanta area, primarily practicing workers' compensation defense. He was a partner in a large local defense firm representing clients based all around the country. His extensive defense experience brings valuable insight into strategies and tactics used by employers and insurers, which helps him to obtain favorable outcomes for his injured clients. John has handled claims from the trial level through appeals filed in the Supreme Court of Georgia. John was named a Best Lawyers Ones to Watch for worker's compensation claims in 2024 and again in 2025.

While in law school, John worked in the Rockdale County District Attorney's office prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony crimes. Additionally, John clerked for the Honorable Kelly Lee Ellerbee of the Superior Court of Fulton County. He also has experience working on behalf of injured parties in personal injury and medical malpractice claims.

In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife and children, running, and supporting all Atlanta sports teams.
