I have the perspective of knowing John as an opponent (in criminal court when he was a prosecutor) and as a colleague and co-counsel (civil lit). In every respect he epitomizes the fairness, civility and judgment we wish everyone we worked with would have (but sadly most do not). I am proud of my AV rating. I worked hard for it. Therefore, I don't just blindly hand out all 5s to anyone who asks. I rated John 5 across the board because he deserves it. He should be AV rated. Read less
