Mr. John R. Holliman

John R. Holliman merged his law practice with Melanie B. Holliman’s practice in 2015 to form Bradford & Holliman which has offices in Pelham and Scottsboro. Their practice focuses on planning ahead for clients - VA Planning, Estate Planning, Long-Term Care Planning, Asset Protection (including trust planning and business entities), Medicaid Planning & Appeals (asset protection, preparing and submitting the Medicaid application, appeals), Special Needs Trusts, and Probate matters.

John R. Holliman has practiced law since 1990 after graduating from University of Alabama School of Law and passing the Alabama bar. John is accredited by the Veterans Administration to work with veterans and their families regarding VA Pension Long Term Planning and VA Service-Connected Disability.

In 2019, John was recognized as Ten Best Attorney Client Satisfaction in 2019 by the Elder Law Division of the American Institute of Legal Counsel. For several years, he has been recognized as a Top Flight Attorney by B-Metro magazine and a Top Attorney by Birmingham magazine for his work in elder law and trusts.
