Mr. Jonathan E. Sholtis

Jonathan is a native of the Eastern Shore who has spent his career standing up for the people of Mobile and the surrounding regions. After attending McGill-Toolen and Ole Miss Law, he gained a unique perspective early on by clerking for both the Federal Defenders Organization and a civil litigation firm. This diverse start gave him the tools to open his own practice in 1998, eventually co-founding DSH in 1999. Since then, he has focused on helping working people navigate the aftermath of wrongful deaths, industrial accidents, and workplace injuries. Whether he’s litigating in Alabama or Mississippi, Jonathan’s goal remains the same: taking on obstinate insurance companies that refuse to do the right thing. He understands that for his clients, these cases aren't just legal files—they are life-altering events. He takes immense pride in being the advocate who doesn't back down, specializing in complex liability and retaliatory discharge cases.
