Biography

Josef “Joe” Raszewski is an Associate in the firm’s Valdosta office. Joe’s practice focuses primarily on affordable housing, commercial transactions, and commercial real estate. Prior to joining Coleman Talley, Joe honed his skills in corporate law and litigation through internships at UPMC in Pittsburgh, the Supreme Court of Costa Rica, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts of Western Pennsylvania. He also served as a Summer Associate at Philips, Cantor, and Shalek P.A. where he focused on complex construction arbitration. Joe completed his Juris Doctor degree at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University, where he distinguished himself as President of the Corporate Law Society and co-competitor on the school’s Trial Advocacy Team. In addition to his legal education, Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Grove City College where he was a council member of the SFRC as well as cofounder of the Lux Mea Film Festival and Events. His academic achievements include receiving the Alumni Merit Scholarship, making the Dean’s List, and being awarded the Mckinley Grant. Outside of work, Joe is actively involved in community events and is affiliated with the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Italian American Law Society.
