Biography

Born and raised in the South, Joseph Quattlebaum moved to the Atlanta area in 2014 to attend graduate school and find a career where he could help people seek justice. After spending a year at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology pursuing a Master’s of Theological Studies, he applied to Emory Law School to seek a joint degree in law and theology. As a member of the employment litigation team, he works to ensure that employees’ civil rights are protected.

Before joining Buckley Bala Wilson Mew, Joseph worked as a law clerk at the District Court for the Northern District of Georgia for Magistrate Judge Christopher C. Bly. As a law clerk, much of Joseph’s work involved employment claims, including claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the American’s with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act.

Joseph earned his undergraduate degree at Mars Hill University near Asheville, North Carolina.

When not practicing law, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing music, and gardening.
