Biography

A founding partner at Grimes & Fertitta, a Professional Corporation, Julian J. Fertitta brings more than 15 years of litigation experience to the Greater Houston area. A 1996 graduate of the South Texas College of Law, Mr. Fertitta obtained experience in several legal environments before founding Grimes & Fertitta with Richard Grimes. Throughout his career, Mr. Fertitta has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of legal matters. Early in his career, Mr. Fertitta managed tort actions across Texas. During this time, he gained experience working through the often complex legal issues in medical malpractice, legal malpractice and products liability cases. Before moving into practice at Grimes & Fertitta, Mr. Fertitta also worked as a defense attorney representing clients across the state. This experience provided Mr. Fertitta with the ability to understand the law from the perspective of both plaintiffs and defendants. Currently, Mr. Fertitta focuses his practice on the areas of personal injury and family law. He is skilled in the areas of auto and truck accidents, medical malpractice, family law and custody disputes, as well as a variety of business-related disputes and litigation. In addition to his admission into the State Bar of Texas, he is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Mr. Fertitta maintains memberships with various associations. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice, and he is a fellow of the Texas Bar Association. His dedication to providing professional, quality legal representation throughout Texas has earned him an Avvo rating of 7.9 out of 10.
