Biography

Kenneth D. Owen is an Associate Attorney practicing Civil Litigation, Business Law, and Commercial Litigation with the MAS Law Firm. He is a licensed member of the State Bar of Texas and a member of the State Bar of Texas Appellate Group. Kenneth obtained his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University—Kingsville in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science. Prior to Law School, Kenneth played professional baseball within the Independent Leagues in California and Montana after his collegiate career. Kenneth went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. While attending Appalachian School of Law, he was a finalist in the intraschool moot court competition—Civil Appeals. Kenneth was selected for the Moot Court Team for the West Virginia University Energy and Natural Resources Competition and was also on the Appalachian Journal of Law as an associate editor and executive board member. Kenneth is most interested and passionate about civil appeals and litigation focuses on remaining up to date on current issues in both fields.
