Kristopher Kest is the founder of Kest Family Law, P.A. He practices and mediates exclusively in the area of marital and family law. Kristopher’s clients are involved in dissolution of marriage proceedings, paternity cases, and related issues. An Orlando native and fifth generation Floridian, Kristopher received his B.A. from Tulane University in New Orleans. After working as a patrol officer for the Fulton County Police Department in Atlanta, Kristopher earned his J.D. with honors from Florida State University College of Law. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts. Kristopher has always included pro bono work as part of his practice, advocating as a guardian ad litem for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the state's dependency system.
Also active in the community, Kristopher is the vice-president of the Central Florida Historical Society (Orange County Regional History Center), and for more than 10 years was a member of the Orange County Bar Association’s Executive Council. He is a past president of the Tulane Alumni Club of Orlando and a past chair of the WMFE 90.7 (now Central Florida Public Media) Community Advisory Board and was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Winter Park Public Library.Kristopher is married and has two daughters. He enjoys inshore fishing, reading non-fiction, all types of water sports, hiking, and snowboarding.
