Biography

Kyle Adams is an Equity Partner at the respected law firm of Pearson Butler & Carson, PLLC in Utah. Kyle is currently also working with the boutique litigation law firm of Cherry Johnson Siegmund James in Texas. As an attorney his main focus is in injury litigation but handles a variety of civil litigation areas. He is drawn to problem solving and helping resolve conflicts, despite the severity. Above all else, Kyle specializes in complex and contentious litigation. His approach is to always seek for the least confrontational alternative, and more often than not can find a resolution without the necessity of trial and extended litigation. However, Kyle's ability to broker deals should not intimate that he shys away from court, as the opposite is true; Kyle's favorite place to be is in the courtroom. Kyle's mantra is to "talk softly and carry a big stick", and his courtroom presence and ability is the latter.   Immediately before joining PEARSON BUTLER, Kyle was living and working for a large law firm in Washington, D.C. in their international litigation section, focusing on Japan.  He is fluent in Japanese and lived in Japan for two years.  Although he loves the East Coast, Kyle is happy to be in Utah. He was born and raised a Utah football fan, and watching football games with his three sons while holding his new baby daughter is his ideal Saturday afternoon. Kyle graduated with honors from Drake University Law School, one of the oldest law schools in the nation which is ranked #2 for Practical Training. He received multiple oral advocacy commendations and was in the leadership for many organizations, including the Business Law Society and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. Prior to law school, Kyle received a business degree from the University of Utah. Following law school, Kyle worked for a business/tax/estate planning law firm in Salt Lake City. Although he enjoyed the transactional work, especially for businesses, Kyle’s passion is to advocate for clients. This passion led him into opening his own law firm and working a variety of litigation cases. He was happy to consolidate everything into Pearson Butler and ultimately join the equity partnership team after only 2 years with the firm. He attributes his success to an unmatched work ethic and dedication to his clients.
