Mr. Kyle G. Basinger

Kyle Basinger is a family law attorney and partner at Goranson Bain Ausley in Plano, Texas. With over 37 years in legal practice, Kyle is a Master Member of the Curt B. Henderson American Inn of Court (former President and Board Member) and the Annette Stewart American Inn of Court, a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and a Fellow of the Collaborative Law College of Texas. He is also a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and Top 30 in Matrimonial and Family Law. Kyle has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America for Family Law continuously since 2011, in Collaborative Law: Family Law since 2011, and in Family Law Mediation (2024–2027). He has been selected to Texas Super Lawyers continuously since 2008 and named to LawDragon's 500 Leading Family Lawyers (2024–2026). Kyle holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. His practice focuses on family law matters including mediation and collaborative divorce. Kyle earned his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in 1989, his Master of Business Administration from St. Edward's University in 1986, and his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas A&M University in 1981. He served honorably in the United States Army as a Captain. His goal is for clients to come through divorce with a sense of calm and control — and confidence in their current and future situation.
