Mr. Marcus A. Jaskolka

Mr. Jaskolka represents civil defendants, contractors, businesses and employers in a wide variety of matters such as cases involving automobile and trucking accidents, construction defects, premises liability and workers’ compensation. Mr. Jaskolka also represents contractors in the telecommunications infrastructure construction and maintenance industry and insurance companies in the defense of bad faith and fraud claims, as well as coverage disputes. He is admitted to practice in the state of Alabama and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern District of Alabama as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, and the Birmingham Bar Association. He belongs to professional organizations such as the Defense Research Institute, the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.

Marc has served as a trial team instructor at the Cumberland School of Law, helping coach trial teams to national championships at the 2011 Tournament of Champions sponsored by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the 2012 American Association for Justice’s Student Trial Advocacy Competition. In addition, he has also been a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Department of Justice Sciences where he has taught legal courses.

Marc is an avid baseball fan, and he enjoys hiking, backpacking and spending time with his wife and family.
